Between the alleys of Old Jaffa and the flea market lies the "Shabtai Hifa" restaurant - one of the oldest fish and seafood restaurants in Jaffa Tel Aviv. For over 40 years the cuisine at Shabtai Hifa is based on daily fresh fish from the sea in a combination of raw materials imported from Greece and local produce. The cooking style that is passed down from generation to generation, and the special treatment given to the food both on the charcoal grill and with the special frying method is what gives the unique taste to the food served on the premises.
