Tomer Agay | Depths of the Sea | Matar Winery | December 15–17

Tomer Agay is one of the leading chefs associated with Tel Aviv’s culinary scene and the chef behind Santa Katarina restaurant. Throughout his career, he has gained experience in leading kitchens in Israel and abroad, developing a distinctive culinary style that is bold and full of character. His cuisine is Mediterranean, local and contemporary, drawing on Arab and Ottoman traditions and combining seasonal ingredients, herbs, spices and precise cooking techniques. Agay’s signature talent is his ability to reinterpret familiar, deeply rooted flavors, adding depth and surprise while preserving their authenticity. As part of “Carlton Hosts,” Agay will present “Depths of the Sea” — his personal interpretation of Mediterranean flavors, paired with wines from Matar Winery and an open conversation with guests. The dishes and ingredients will be adapted to meet kosher requirements and approved by the chef before publication.
