who is ita | Our Ita, she is Poppina's little daughter, for years she has been walking in our dreams, and now she is here. Ita is a wine bar, with a variety of wines we like to drink and food we like to eat. She is young, prickly, cheeky and approachable. Ita is friends and family who meet for a moment of pleasure. | Start with cheeses and sausages with good bread, drink a light glass of wine and slowly progress to deeper wines, and the food accordingly comes out of the oven or straight from the fryer to absorb the alcohol. | It's okay if the sauce drips. You are at home, feel comfortable, relax, that's the most important thing. | Ita is actually old and new, it appeared in 2024 but has existed since 1915. Ita went through a long journey full of hardships until it reached us. | And who is she named after? Ita Katz was a precious and special woman, who was born in Lithuania a little before the last century and immigrated to Israel. Ita built the house where Poppina lives back then, in 1915 or so, and thanks to her we are there every evening, dining and appreciating her for her work.
