Bar Marok was established in 2020 by Chef Nissim Ziv. The restaurant is located in the center of Holon in Weizmann Square. It is a frontal market kitchen with an oven and a charcoal grill in the center. The cuisine is fundamentally based on North African cuisine. Chef Nissim Ziv took the basics of the kitchen from his mother's house and combines it with modern and special magical food based on different cooking techniques. The kitchen emphasizes the use of local and fresh raw materials with careful care. The kitchen traditionally produces the spices and spreads. Upon entering the restaurant you can smell the spice coming out of the square. The restaurant works in a lunch format with a variety of meats on a charcoal fire, baking Moroccan prana in a local bakery - stuffed with a selection of meats and toppings. In addition, there are dishes that change daily. In the evening, the restaurant becomes a Moroccan hafala with an electrifying atmosphere of Arabian and happy music, a selection of cocktails and alcohol, a variety of table openers coming out of the oven and a coveted and special meat menu in new and addictive flavors. Nissim Ziv was born and lives in Holon and has always dreamed of his own restaurant in the city. With over 22 years of experience in the field in a variety of restaurants, cafes, food buffets, event gardens and after serving for about 15 years as chef Segev Moshe in his restaurants in Israel and abroad in Israel and abroad, Nissim decided to fulfill his dream and embark on a new path!
