The Hermitage was established in 2012 by Jaris Azzam, a third generation of restaurateurs and a family that has been in the restaurant industry for many years. We at Ruben believe in the importance of combining fresh food from quality ingredients and cordial and professional hospitality. Each branch has professional cooks who love and understand meat and we advocate for the preparation of the meats and sauces in the restaurant. Our kitchens are free of soup powders or flavorings and we advocate giving a simple meal experience - at eye level but tasty and indulgent. All our branches have a smokehouse where cuts are put every night to cook slowly and absorb the aromas of the smoking wood.
