The workshop restaurant is located in the hangar of the old Jerusalem train station. Iron and wood, as then as well as today, are basic elements in the design of the place. The atmosphere of the craft and the work also play an important role in the kitchen. In the workshop the emphasis is on the raw materials, and as in a real workshop, the right and smart combination between them makes the difference. Thanks to years of experience in kitchens and a real love of eating, Chef Shachar Shmuel composes oriental influences from home and Israeli Mediterranean cuisine. The desserts, pasta and aging of the meats are made on site and under the supervision of the chef. The workshop restaurant space is large and allows you to experience the restaurant in a variety of ways. Sitting at the bar in front of the open kitchen is a perfect view of the work of the chef and the cooks and shares the active work of the kitchen with the guests, the outdoor terrace for those who prefer a quieter place and crisp and cool Jerusalem air, a spacious knights table for family meals and friends' meetings, or small tables for intimate and private meals.
