About Us
The meaning of the word Metafona - buried Metafona is an ancient cooking method Our meat and dishes go through a long cooking process on coals in pits in the ground (also the garlic confit) Boya invites you to a carnivore feast that lasts about 3 hours. During the feast, you will be served 6 types of meat, red and white wine (free) Light drinks, salads, bread baked in a stone oven and desserts at the end of the meal (we do not sell alcohol in the restaurant, you can only bring kosher alcohol) The Matafuna also combines dishes from the Tripolitanian cuisine. In Matafuna everything happens right before your eyes during the evening you will hear the bell of Boya ringing and you will be able to see how the meats come out of the belly of the earth and Boya breaks up all the pieces The meal is accompanied by ambient music with the songs we all love The seating in our restaurant is at separate tables. Arriving at the restaurant is by reservation only Kosher: kosher rabbinate Modi'in region, all meats part rabbinate, vegetables-gush Katif (sale permit)
