About Us

The Margosa Bar, an old food bar located in the heart of Jaffa's flea market, between the picturesque alleys of Jaffa and the special market atmosphere reminiscent of markets from Europe and the world. The food menu is led by Chef Or Shapira, who grew up in Chef Meir Adoni's kitchen and later became the chef of the group's restaurants, among them the famous cult restaurant, the eatery and the Lumina restaurant. Shapira has concocted an interesting food menu, one that knows how to accompany a good drink or actually be a whole meal. On the menu you can find a variety of fresh local ingredients and a range of flavors, from ceviche citrus, to Mexican shawarma. In the alcohol segment, the margoza gives the respect that comes to the beer and holds nine beer taps from the barrel, some of them boutique beers from local breweries, along with a variety of wines from around the world and cocktails brewed especially for the place. Also hold private events. The interesting food alongside the market atmosphere stimulates the senses and palate and produces a colorful, happy and fun experience.
