About Us

The Oben Koban restaurant is an alley in Tokyo, next to which there is a restaurant and a bar, serving the passers-by. The restaurant offers modern Japanese street food, all dishes consist of high-quality ingredients, with an emphasis on unique recipes. Behind the appearance of the Japanese lanterns he discovers an active kitchen, which creates an experience reminiscent of a pleasant stroll through the streets of Shinjuku and Shibuya. The meaning of the name "Oban Koban" is ancient gold oval lucky coins that were used by Japan during the feudal period (before Japan switched to modern use). The restaurant brings to the Israeli customer the authentic Japanese aroma, adapted to the Israeli palate and inspired by leading international cuisines. The service also reflects the Japanese rules of etiquette. The result is a perfect experience that combines an enjoyable pastime with rare culinary richness.
