The architecture of this landmark building is the work of the first female architect in Serbia, Jelisaveta Načić. In addition to the unique gastronomic specialties that Smokvica is known for—dishes that bring not only sensory pleasure but also a true experience of taste—Smokvica in Jovanova also features a wood-fired pizza oven (using oak and beech wood). The pizzas are prepared with Neapolitan flour, a touch of yeast, and no sugar.
