"Eddie's Hideout" was founded in 1979 by Eddie Hetz, a chef and owner. Eddie was born in 1940 in New York, he immigrated to Jerusalem in the early 1970s, where he met Batya and together they opened a hamburger restaurant. The Red Sea fascinated them and they decided to go south to Eilat. They bought the restaurant and the goal was to make people enjoy food, so they found a small place in a not-so-nice neighborhood and their belief was that the food will make the place and not the other way around. In the restaurant you will find classic dishes alongside updates inspired by Eddie, after 40 years of work and a new place, we are proud that Eddie has succeeded! What started as the first roasting house in Israel has become a leading and successful restaurant chain. Today we are proud to continue developing a new and updated menu, which includes everything we believe in: local cuisine that corresponds with our past and future in Israel, meticulous and contemporary but at eye level and all hours of the day. Our new menu is based on fine cuisine, on quality in our bakery and kitchen, on excellent raw materials, all under the direction of our chef - Yaholoma Levy.

An urban cafe in the Shoshana lobby Our breakfast is already talked about in the whole city, but LOBBY Shoshana offers another variety of rich dishes, desserts and drinks made from the highest quality ingredients. Our cafe is open to the general public and is therefore the perfect place to experience Eilat from a different angle and get to know the locals. The cafe has an indoor seating area in the hotel lobby, an urban seating area on the edge of the street, and a sun terrace on the edge of the pool.
