ROVA A is a trip to the districts of Chef Avitar Malka. Originally from the A neighborhood of Ashdod, the restaurant tells its story and emphasizes the experience of the chef returning to the regions of his childhood, with a modern interpretation and an emphasis on fresh fish, coal and influences from all the countries of the Mediterranean. The restaurant is located in the legendary Alkonin Hotel - the first hotel in Tel Aviv to be rebuilt in 2019.
During the month of June, chef Eder Lotan will host a series of culinary summer meetings, in which chefs Rafael Ben Oliel, Barak Hasson (Hotel Montefiore) and Raz Rahab (OCD) will take part. Three one-off evenings of joint creation where each meeting will be structured as a 10-12 course tasting meal, which will bring to light the creative meeting point between the content worlds of the guest chefs and Lotan's world, alongside a special cocktail menu.
During the month of June, wine evenings with prominent importers will be held at Gaijin. On June 8, an evening with "Burgundy Crown" will be held, serving champagnes and classic wines, and on June 14, wine importer "Shaked" will be hosting wines from international wineries.
The Baba Yaga Jazz Festival will take place every Thursday in June starting at 19:30 and will be dedicated to Israeli music with jazz arrangements of songs by Mati Caspi, Eric Einstein and others.
